Model Uragano115 ZR full carbon with VELA tensioning system

The leaf spring has a simple and elegant shape, shaped like a cuttlefish bone, which allows optimal lateral manoeuvring in the water.

The study of geometry and volume, as well as aesthetics, is aimed at balancing loads, maximising bending rigidity and minimising recoil.

The proven VELA tensioning system is used.

The VELA system, developed for CETMA COMPOSITES rifles, guarantees a free line of fire thanks to the innovative stopper positioned after the pulleys. This enables accurate shots that exceed all expectations.

Highly modular carbon barrel with closed structure.

The internal structure is made of an ultra-low density multifunctional polymeric material with structural properties used in the aerospace industry. It is a closed-cell polymer core capable of dampening vibrations;

Module

URAGANO has an extremely thin cuttlefish shape that tapers towards the head. Along the entire lower part, the string drive unit, consisting of a tensioner system, is placed at a suitable distance from the barrel to facilitate loading and eliminate any friction or vibration on the barrel during firing.

dimensions

Very low thickness: average thickness only 2.5 cm, head width 5.5 cm, maximum width 10 cm

Finish (without painting)

Anti-reflection matt finish. CETMA COMPOSITES products are not painted, which is synonymous with quality, because very often low-quality carbon products are painted to hide defects in the production process.

Production process

A completely innovative manufacturing process developed by CETMA COMPOSITES called ‘Zero Defect Technology’ creates a completely monolithic carbon fibre part without voids. This process therefore maximises the performance of the structure, making it as rigid as possible and unaltered over time.

SAIL settings available

The SAIL or SAIL system: is the system that maximises the performance of the URAGANO rifle, a system that allows you to shoot beyond 7 metres with zero recoil and centimetre accuracy

POWER AND PENETRATION Depending on the type of harpoon and the diameter of the rods selected, the penetration power of the harpoon can be modified. The recommended extraction ratio is a maximum of 310%/315%, but can be adjusted according to hunting requirements.
